New VividPlatform launched at Internationale Möbelmesse 2016

Following the previews last year (See October Newsletter), the next generation VividPlatform was recently publicly launched in the Internationale Möbelmesse 2016 (IMM) in Cologne. Besides the next level of WebGL-visualisation and the new platform features what attracted most interest from the IMM visitors were the omni-channel use cases of the VividPlatform. "More than two thirds of all furniture dealers are interested in a scalable omni-channel business platform", estimated Martin Tabery, Vivid Works sales and marketing director, after the IMM. "What we see in the market is a strong retailer re-thinking of the whole customer furniture buying cycle and a clear demand for a single omni-channel platform – and this is independent of whether the retailer is planning to start with just a 3D online configuration and visualisation tool or deploying a full-blown design-to-purchase platform including the integrations to webshop, CRM, social-media, and blogs."
